Prometheus Design Tool (PDT) Demonstation Proposal
John Thangarajah, Lin Padgham, Michael Winikoff

The Prometheus Design Tool (PDT) was developed with the aim of providing a tool that supports the design of agent based systems using the Prometheus methodology [1]. This demonstration is a software demonstration of PDT (“live demo software”), which will be run on a PC/Laptop and projected onto a screen for audience viewing.

In this demonstration we will illustrate the features of PDT by using a sample application developed by a group of third year undergraduate computer science students. This application simulates a virtual stock market system where a trading agent aims to make profit by buying and selling stocks. We will demonstrate how PDT supports the various stages of the Prometheus methodology by stepping through some of these stages using the sample application.
