Badges

Please ensure to wear your event badge at all times during the conference to gain access to all events, including lunches and social events (reception, gala dinner).


Liability and Insurance

Registration fees do not include the insurance of participants against personal accidents, sickness and cancellations by any party, theft, loss or damage to personal possessions.


Internet / WiFi

Wireless internet is available to conference participants in all rooms and atriums. The Wifi connection information will be sent privately to all attendees through Whova app/email.


Banks, Currency, Credit Cards

The local currency is the Canadian dollar (CAD). Foreign currency can be exchanged at the airport as well as at private exchange offices found throughout the city. There are many banks and ATMs close to Concordia University and several National Bank ATMS are located on campus.


Electricity

The electrical supply and outlets (sockets, wall plugs) are the same as those found in the United States. The standard voltage is 110-120 V, with a standard frequency of 60 Hz. European plugs are not compatible with Canadian electrical sockets. In order to plug in your electric appliances, you will need a plug adapter.
